This technology enables many users to literally drag and drop a detail directly into their CAD drawings, using AutoDesk's i-drop.
This functionality is presently supported by AutoCAD 2000i and later, and ArchiCAD Version 9 and later.
In order to use this feature, you must use an ActiveX-enabled browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer on the Microsoft Windows Operating System, and have the i-drop indicator installed.
Note that in recent some browser implementations, security alterations have been made that may require you to 'Click to activate and use this control', prior to using the i-drop control. In some cases it is also necessary to turn Protected Mode off for this site.
